A Trip Down Memory Lane…Fulham (Part 2)

Last August, I took a trip to Fulham. It was the first time I had been to Fulham for many years and I specifically explored the Putney Bridge end of Fulham as that was where I used to live. This August, I returned to Fulham, with my friends Lesley and James, and this time we aimed to explore the Fulham Broadway area. Again a beautiful summer’s day, but my oh my, it has really changed around there…parts of it I didn’t recognise! Be warned…there are a lot of images in this post!

Starting a new art journal

“No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!”

I started a new art journal a few weeks ago…it’s always a bit daunting staring at the blank pages and wondering what to fill them with. Luckily there is a lot of help and guidance out on YouTube and various arts and crafts sites (I shall do a blog post on those one day). For this particular art journal, I wanted to put some of my favourite quotes/sayings alongside my art work…sometimes the link between the picture and the words is very obvious, sometimes it isn’t!
