I am Amanda Hayler and this site has been set up to showcase some of my family’s old photos, as well as provide a bit of history about the people that inhabit these photos. Whilst many of their stories may be personal to my family, some will also resonate with similar personal accounts that relate to similar times in history.

For the most of the photos I’ve done a bit of restoration and I’ve tried to provide larger versions. The larger versions can be accessed by simply clicking on the displayed photo.
