Love and Laughter in Liverpool

“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”
Audrey Hepburn

I Love Liverpool

A couple of weekends ago, I went up to Liverpool to meet up with some of the girls in the Click Collective. This was rather a special meet up for me, because many of them I hadn’t met before and it also meant visiting a fantastic city. Indeed, I had a wonderful time: I had high tea at the Adelphi Hotel, I had coffee at the Bluecoat, I saw the Big Egg Hunt in the city centre, I wandered around the Albert Dock, I drank in the Cavern Club, I dallied with Gormley’s men at Crosby Beach and I dined in Southport!

Most of all, I met some lovely, lovely people and had some real belly laughs! I want to do it again! Many, many thanks to Aly for letting me stay in her lovely flat 🙂

P.S. You can also see a selection of photos from the weekend from all of us here on the CC blog. And I will be doing a separate blog post about the Big Egg Hunt soon!

I love these, you have made me want to go out into my own city and capture it. Now there’s a project for when my kids are back at school.
