Inktober 2018

This year, for Inktober, I am doing illustrations in Procreate, a drawing app for the iPad. The illustrations are loosely a folk art theme, being inspired by Liz Kohler Brown’s classes on Skillshare.

Meet the Artist

I’m Amanda…I rediscovered art about 5 years ago, a year after being diagnosed with advanced cancer. I love working with watercolour and pen, and my style is more illustrative than painterly. I draw everything and anything. Recently I have got back into digital art, using an iPad Pro. I have an Etsy Shop where I sell small pieces of original art and handmade cards. Note: it is very rare to see a photo of me!

Playing with Procreate

I treated myself to an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil for Christmas. One of the apps I was keen to use was Procreate, a digital painting app designed specifically for the iPad Pro.
