A Little Sketchbook of Fruit

Over the last couple of months, I have been doing little watercolour and pen sketches in various sketchbooks based around different themes. They really help me to start my day as I tend to do them in the morning. My go to watercolours is the “Sakura Koi Watercolors Pocket Field Sketch Box” and my favourite pens (at the moment, because I’m a fickle little bunny) are Sakura Pigma Microns (and no, I’m not affiliated to Sakura in any way).

Painting Faces

The last few weeks I have been a bit preoccupied with painting faces. In the past, drawing or painting a face was always difficult for me, because I strived to make it look realistic, which was a bit dumb really…(a) I have a camera to take photos of people, and (b) since when does my other “art” look realistic?
