The Big Egg Hunt 2013
I was very excited to find out that there was going to be another Big Egg Hunt this year. The first Big Egg Hunt was last year and it took place in London, where over 200 decorated eggs were scattered across the city (you can see some of my photographs from last year on the Click Collective blog). This time, 101 decorated eggs would be travelling across the UK, starting in Covent Garden, London, then Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, and then back down to London. I wasn’t able to follow them all over the country, but I did manage to see them in Covent Garden (twice) and Liverpool.
Similar to last year, the eggs were a variety of colours, patterns, textures and shapes…some were instantly recognisable; some were funny or quirky; and some were thought-provoking or controversial. Here are some of my favourite eggs – I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
